Ed Stryker

The club is deeply saddened by the death of former player Ed Stryker who was killed in a road accident on Jan 17th and sends condolences to family and friends. The funeral will be at Moorlynch Church at 1 p.m. on Friday Feb 3rd

We are repeating our very successful Quiz Night at the Burtle Village Hall on Saturday February 25th.

Sponsorship

Alliance Leisure have agreed to continue as main sponsors for 2012 and we will have a big Sponsorship campaign to attract new sponsors this season.

Ashcott and Shapwick run two Saturday teams competing in the West of England Premier League (WEPL), the 1st XI plays in the Premier Two division while the 2nd XI plays in the Premier Two division for second teams. We also run a Sunday XI which in 2012 will play in Division B of the Taunton Sunday League and will also play a number of friendly fixtures.

We have a thriving junior section which has more than 60 members aged between 8 and 15 and fields teams at Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 levels in the Taunton and District Youth League

New members both adult and junior are always welcome as are volunteers especially to help coach the juniors. There is a lot of information on this site but if you want to know more or get involved then please get in touch
